Greg Owen:
Greg Owen is co-founder of iwantPrEPnow.co.uk a website that facilitates the safe purchase of legitimate and genuine generic PrEP (HIV prevention option). He is author of gregowenblog.wordpress.com which discusses and tackles the realities of HIV, chemsex, gay community, sexual well-being, London life and PrEP. HIV Equal magazine have called him the UK’s leading PrEP activist and he was listed in My Fab Disease’s top 16 advocates to watch in 2016 as featured in HIV Plus magazine.

He has featured in numerous radio and television specials on HIV, sexual well-being and the push for PrEP as well as writing and contributing to countless articles for the LGBT and mainstream press. He has been invited to speak at several conferences and forums in the coming months. You can follow his work on Twitter @greg0wen #whereisPrEP and #GregChats

Here in the HIV Conversation, Greg bravely bares all as he talks about his diagnosis, coming out as HIV+ very publicly on social media, the dark depths he saw ex-partners go through with HIV and how he himself pulled through into the light of his current activism work. He describes family members’ reactions, emotional taxes and navigating pain. What ultimately comes through is Greg’s belief in kindness and optimism within a complicated but brilliant gay community.
