Susan Cole
Susan Cole
Feminist mother of four and ex wife of three, Susan has been an HIV activist, campaigner and writer for over sixteen years. She has worked for a number of HIV organisations including The UK Coalition of People Living with HIV (UKC), NAM (twice!), The National AIDS Trust (NAT), has been a trustee of CHIVA and was the UK representative for the EU Project on HIV prevention strategies. She was a regular columnist and writer for Positive Nation Magazine (shamelessly exploiting her pregnancy to bag an interview with Richard Gere) and has written for a variety of other publications on issues around HIV including BASELINE, African Eye, Writers of Colour and The F-Word.

She is particularly passionate about issues affecting women living with HIV. She is a trustee of the Women’s HIV Charity The Sophia Forum and serves on the steering committee of Positively Women, Positively UK’s women’s project. She has recently returned to NAM as Patient Information, Marketing & Membership Manager
